• On the palate it is young, and fresh, with fruity tannins, good acidity and appealing structure.
• Made from Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela, Tinta Barroca and Tinto Cão. After an amazing year for the Douro this wine is a dark ruby wine with an intense dark and red fruit aroma with spicy character.Elegant  yet has a high concentration level. It has everything you expect from Niepoort, deep fruit, vibrant acidity and mature tannins. Pair with braised beef cooked with garlic.

Pedro Ximenez Cardenal Cisneros
This sweet wine is thick dark and brooding. The nose is a heady concoction of dried, crushed raisins, mixed with molasses and then poured over plum pudding. There is some smokey wood in the mouth if you look for it, but the concentrated, raisiny fruit and huge wack of sweetness are the main features. There is a bit of acid providing some restraint and balance.
